GOALKEEPERS

Toby McKimm - Goalkeeper

Toby McKimm - Goalkeeper

Toby is starting his second season in the Terrors goal, having been everpresent in the league last time around. He signed up last summer, alongside his brother Elliott, who moved on in mid-season.

Toby, meanwhile, added 6 cup-tie appearances (bringing his total for the club to 44) and kept 9 clean sheets overall. He was also the star in two penalty shootouts, making crucial saves against Corinthian FC (FA Vase) and Woodford Town (London Senior Cup) to ensure we progressed on each occasion.

Previous Clubs: Tonbridge Angels, Leatherhead, Colliers Wood Utd.

George Barnes

George Barnes - Goalkeeper

Seventeen year old George continues his development this season as cover for Toby McKimm having made quite an impression in the first team already.

His ability was already well-known to supporters of our junior sides, but was drawn to the attention of a first-team crowd when he was called up (literally at the very last minute) for our final pre-season friendly against Raynes Park Vale a year ago, making several eye-catching saves and laying the foundations for a 1-0 victory against our Step 4 local rivals. He followed this up with a competitive debut in the League Cup at Wallingford & Crowmarsh, and then gave another superb display in our 3-2 London Senior Cup win over AFC Wimbledon in December. His progress will continue to be watched with interest.

DEFENDERS

Andy O'Brien - Defender

Andy O'Brien - Defender

Popular Andy is keen to put the 2024/25 season behind him, after injuries ravaged his campaign and left him a frustrated figure on the sidelines. He still managed to rack up a further 19 league appearances (21 in all competitions) to bring his overall total to 41 (3 goals) since joining the Terrors in late 2023.

He’ll be hopeful of staying fit, and solidifying a solid central defensive partnership with skipper Antonio Simeone.

Antonio Simeone - Defender

Antonio Simeone - Defender

‘Simmo’ is now in his fifth spell as a Terror, having rejoined the club last summer. He was quickly appointed Club Captain by manager Jamie Byatt, a role that his know-how and experience makes him a perfect fit for.

Another who played in all 38 league matches last time around, bringing his overall tally for the club past the 150 mark, a landmark that was acknowledged with a special presentation prior to our last home game against Fleet Town back in April.
He deservedly picked up 4 awards at the end-of-season event (‘Player of the Year’ from the Supporter’s Club, his fellow players, the manager, and the Member’s Club). He may be getting on in years, but his athleticism, fitness, and devotion to his craft ensure that he’ll be around for a while yet.

Isy Nzelo - Defender

Isy Nzelo - Defender

Isy joined us last summer from near-neighbours Sutton Common Rovers, and became an increasingly influential member of the team as the season progressed. He was in and out of the side early on, but ended the campaign with 13 starts and 4 sub appearances as he proved a versatile asset for manager Jamie Byatt. He’ll be aiming for a regular place in the season ahead.

Previous Clubs: Sutton Common Rovers, Ashford Town (Middlesex), Guildford City.

Matt Tanton - Defender

Matt, known as ‘Tants’, has joined us this summer and is another to have made the short journey from Sutton Common Rovers FC. He spent eight years at SCR, having signed for them after a spell with Epsom & Ewell, and rose to become Club Captain – earning a reputation as one of the most reliable and consistent performers at Steps 4 and 5.

He looks to be a more than useful addition to our defensive ranks, and will be keen to show our supporters what he can do.

Justus Egbueri - Defender

Justus Egbueri - Defender

Like Andy O’Brien, Justus endured an injury-hit campaign last time around. Unlike Andy, it meant he was unable to make a single first team appearance for the duration of the season. This was doubly frustrating for all concerned, as Justus had emerged from the Academy in 2023/24 to make 12 starts and 7 sub appearances and firmly cement his status as one of our most promising youngsters.

It is to be hoped that Justus can regain full fitness, and further his development at first-team level in 2025/26.

Matias Bojanov - Defender

Matias is another to make the step up from Academy football, making 3 starts and 3 sub appearances in the first-team last season. His versatility enables him to play on either flank, where his pace and eye for a pass marks him out as
another junior graduate to keep an eye on.

Lewis Jackson - Defender

Lewis signed for Tooting & Mitcham this summer hoping to get more action than he managed for Step 4 Westfield last season, where the majority of his appearances came from the substitute’s
bench. A capable midfielder, who can also turn out in defence, Lewis was previously at Chertsey Town, for whom he appeared in the 2019 FA Vase final at Wembley – coming on as an extra-time sub to enjoy 20 minutes or so on the hallowed turf.

Habeeb Adepoju - Defender

Habeeb, known as TJ to his teammates, is embarking on his second season in the black and white stripes, having racked up 19 starts and 7 sub appearances last time around. Operating mainly as a central defender, he proved to be a reliable replacement for the injured Andy O’Brien and will be looking to put pressure on the big Irishman in his quest for a regular first-team spot.

MIDFIELDERS

Max Oldham - Midfield

Max Oldham - Midfield

Max enjoyed a superb first season with the Terrors last year, having arrived at Imperial Fields in summer 2024. He quickly settled in, netting 10 goals in his first 19 outings (impressive indeed, for somebody not playing as an out-and-out striker.) He finished the campaign as our top scorer with 14 goals, and will be looking for something similar in the months ahead.

Ash Sheppard - Midfield

Ash Sheppard - Midfield

One of the huge success stories of last season, Ash joined us last summer and quickly became a firm favourite with the Terrors supporters. His all-action style combined with an eye for goal was only curtailed by a mid-season injury which kept him out for a couple of months. He returned towards the end of the campaign, and will hopefully be back to his best in 2025/26.

Deserved winner of the Geoff Gatt Supporter’s Club Goal-of-the-season award for his longrange rasper against Sheerwater last August.

Bradley Kandu - Midfield

Bradley made great strides last season, having been another of our promising youngsters to make the step up from Academy football into the first-team.

He made his debut in the League Cup defeat at Wallingford & Crowmarsh, and finished the campaign with 6 starts and 3 sub appearances in all competitions. He was a fairly regular performer towards the end of the season, appearing in 8 of the last 10 league matches. He also scooped the U23s Player of the season award at the end-of-season ceremony.

Darral Wopara against Cobgam - 5 Aug 2025

Darral Wopara - Midfield

Darral is a welcome returnee from last season’s squad, looking to build on a successful finish to the campaign. He took a little time to find his feet at Imperial Fields, but as the season progressed, he became increasingly influential in the heart of the Terror’s midfield and arguably ended the term as the most improved player in Jamie Byatt’s squad.

Only one goal last season,  however, but may also be looking to put that right having scored a couple in pre-season friendlies this time around.

Jordy links up with us this season having made 35 appearances last season for Kent Step 4 sides Sheppey Utd. and Herne Bay. His experience will be a crucial asset to Jamie Byatt’s midfield options as the manager looks for as much competition as possible in the middle of the park.

He moved into the non-league scene after a couple of seasons on the Spireites books. Last season he made 19 appearances for Corinthian-Casuals, although he didn’t feature in either of the matches against the Terrors.

Conor Melody - Midfield

Conor Melody - Midfield

Conor is now embarking on his third season with Tooting & Mitcham, having joined the club midway through the 2023/24 campaign.

He has played at a high level in his native Ireland, scoring the only goal of the game as Galway United shocked League of Ireland heavyweights Cork City back in 2019. His 29 starts and 4 sub appearances last time out bring his overall total for the Terrors up to the half-century mark, with 5 goals scored in addition.

Nathan Mampono - Midfield

Nathan joined the Terrors at the beginning of the year, and made his debut in the dramatic 2-1 win over Spelthorne Sports, when two goals in added on time gave us the points after Spelthorne had taken the lead just minutes from the end of normal time.

His bursts of pace and close control quickly caught the eye, and he became a valuable asset as the season progressed, ending the campaign with 7 starts and 3 sub appearances.

Local boy Wassiem has been promoted to the first-team squad this season after impressing in our junior ranks last campaign.

Freddie Jones - Midfield

Talented youngster Freddie looks to continue his development under the watchful eye of his U23 coach Dan Yankah, who will be assisting Jamie Byatt at first-team level this season.

Freddie made three first team appearances last season, all from the bench. He came on for the last half-hour or so of our League Cup defeat at Wallingford & Crowmarsh, followed that up with the last fifteen minutes of the next league game at home to Camberley Town (a 5-1 win), and then came on after an hour of the 3-2 London Senior Cup win against AFC Wimbledon. He was unlucky not to score on that occasion, when the Dons’ keeper made a tremendous one-handed save as Freddie looked to flick the ball over him.

Another whose progress will be monitored with interest this season.

Tariq (Taz) Mahmoud - Midfield

At times last season, Taz looked unplayable as he terrorised opposition defences, but he will be hoping to shake off the tag of ‘supersub’ and press for a regular starting role this time around. He made 31 appearances (20 as sub) and his 5 goals included a fine effort which initiated the 3-2 win over eventual Champions AFC Whyteleafe.

Shay Brennan

Shay Brennan - Forward

Top scorer for the Terrors (and also in the CCL Prem South) two seasons ago with 33 goals.

Shay started last season at Step 4 with Farnham Town before making a welcome return to Imperial Fields towards the end of the campaign.

He played in 5 of the last 8 fixtures, adding another 3 goals to his Terrors’ tally in the process. Shay’s retention for 2025/26 gives the club a huge boost going forward.

Alex Cruickshank - Forward

What a season 2024/25 was for Academy graduate Alex! He started the season on the fringes of the first team set-up after a tremendous 2023/24 campaign in our U23s, and finished it as one of the first names on Jamie Byatt’s teamsheet, along with a deserved trial at Championship side Hull City.

A continued upward trajectory is expected, but for the time being we are delighted Alex has chosen to further his football education at Imperial Fields, and many supporters will be salivating at the prospect of seeing Alex marauding through CCL defences alongside strike-partner Shay Brennan. He’d netted 2 goals from 4 sub appearances before he’d even started a league game for Tooting, and finished the campaign with 10 goals from 16 starts (and 6 sub appearances).
