Tooting & Mitcham United

Tooting & Mitcham Sports and Leisure Ltd submitted planning for the erection of an accommodation block comprising of 77 new affordable homes to be based at the front of the site.

The profits derived from the accommodation block will be reinvested into the facility to provide new sporting facilities for the local community.

The plan to enhance the facilities at Imperial Fields has been the vision of the organisation since they first published their Master Plan in 2008. Today they are one step closer to completing their vision with the report to the planning committee recommending that planning permission should be granted.

We are in independently funded not for profit facility, providing sport, health, education and well-being facilities As an inclusive facility we believe that providing a safe space for all allows barriers to be broken down and communities created We have a Café bar and Function Room for community events.

Who uses our facilities

4000 – local people per week access the site

35 – Sports Clubs use the facility

6 – local businesses running from the facility

100 – 16 – 19 year olds in education

300 – players in our youth teams

New Facilities at TM United

Accommodation Block 

77 New Homes based at the front of the site. These will be split into 1 and 2 bedroom apartments.

Entrance Block

The replacement building at the front of the site will house upgraded changing rooms and a versatile space to deliver Dance, Drama, Music, Martial Arts, Futsal, and other community activities.
