PLAYER SPONSORSHIP

T&MUFC Player Sponsorship - October 2024 Update

There are still a number of player sponsorship opportunities that remain available for businesses or individuals looking to make an impact at Tooting & Mitcham United this season.  This initiative not only supports our players but also gives sponsors unique visibility within the club and the community.

The Soccer Store is the latest company to take up this offer by sponsoring Habeeb Adepoju.  As well as paying the regular £50 fee they have kindly also donated sets of football bibs for the first team and other training sessions.  The Soccer Store is a leading retailer of football training equipment and goals, supplying their equipment to all levels of the football pyramid.  Peter Hart from The Soccer Store commented "We are more than pleased to link up with grassroots football in this way and show our support by sponsoring a player.  I'm sure that the training bibs will be put to good use by the club."

By supporting a player, you'll gain exclusive benefits including your company's name featured on our website, recognition in matchday programs and sponsors could have photos taken with their sponsored player.  This is a fantastic way to showcase your brand while supporting grassroots football.  See below for the full list of benefits.

T&MUFC Player Sponsorship Scheme

 

The scheme is managed by Tooting and Mitcham United Members Club.

 

  • Player cost is £50
     

  • Each player can be sponsored more than once
     

  • Coaches and backroom staff can be sponsored
     

  • Should a sponsored player / coach leave the club during the season, then the sponsorship can be switched to another player / coach
     

  • The Members Club will make best efforts to arrange for sponsors to receive photos taken with their sponsored player / coach.  If space is available, where possible these will also be published in the matchday programme. Likewise, these can be featured on the club’s website and periodically featured on social media channels
     

  • All sponsorships will be publicised on the player / coach page in the matchday programme
     

  • All sponsorships will be publicised on the player / coach pages of the club’s official website, including link to sponsor’s website if required 
     

  • If a player wins any end of season awards then, where possible, sponsors will have the opportunity to present those awards
     

  • Payment for sponsorships can be made by cash, cheque, card or bank transfer (but to keep banking costs down we would prefer a bank transfer if possible)
