Tooting & Mitcham United

Jamie first signed for the Terrors in the 2007/08 campaign from Corinthian Casuals after being spotted by chief scout at that time Colin Turner, he would go onto have three different spells with the club.

‘Busy’ was an attacking left-sided player and in his first season with us he collected a London Senior Cup Winners Medal when Hendon were defeated in the Final. A few days later there was more success when Cray Wanderers were beaten by a goal to nil in the Isthmian League Division One South Play Off Final at Imperial Fields.

In 2009/10 he was a member of the side that reached the FA Cup First Round Proper losing at Stockport County.

During the 2011/12 term Jamie would leave Tooting & Mitcham returning in 2015/16 for a solitary season. Jamie would come home again in the 2023-24 campaign for his third stint at the club to become First Team Manager which was a very popular choice amongst the Terrors faithful.

Jamie was also a fans favourite at Corinthian Casuals where he scored over 100 goals in his two spells with them and won the Player of the Season award also. He made his first foray into management as the interim boss at Epsom & Ewell.

Jamie made over 150 appearances for Tooting, scoring 42 times netting one of the best goals ever witnessed at Imperial Fields against Margate. He also saw service with Croydon Athletic, Epsom & Ewell, Kingstonian, Met Police and Whyteleafe.

In his first spell at Imperial Fields Jamie suffered a serious cruciate ligament injury and was overwhelmed by the support given to him in relation to the operation he needed by the loyal Tooting and Mitcham fans. He is something of a cult figure who is Tooting & Mitcham, through and through.
